If this is your first visit here or will be visiting/staying here soon, everything will seem very strange and you might find the information in this web site saves you some time and effort finding things out for yourself. You might also like to check out The Ulsan Web for even more information regarding Ulsan. The compound is situated approximately 800m north of the main gate/entrance to the Hyundai Shipyard. The compound comprises of apartment blocks and a group of bungalows set in pleasant grounds and enclosed by a fence. There are guards posted at each entrance to the compound. There is a clubhouse, which at present has a bar, dining room, children's playroom and outdoor slide/climbing frame, gym, Pool & Darts room and a book/video library. In addition to these facilities there is a swimming pool, two squash courts and a barbecuing pits for the exclusive use of fully paid up clubhouse members. The clubhouse also manages the two tennis courts on behalf of HHI and the keys for any of the above can be obtained from the bar on signing the appropriate facilities book. There are many different nationalities represented on the compound depending on the projects ongoing with HHI. Clubhouse committee and Membership rulesThe ClubhouseMembership 1. The membership shall be open to all foreign nationals whose residence in the area are related directly or indirectly to the Hyundai group of companies. 2. Social Membership is available to foreigners who meet the following criteria: Recommended by three Full Members and approved by the committee and No direct or indirect connected to the Hyundai Group of Companies. This Membership is non-voting and the subscription rates and process is the same as for Full Members. 3. A register of members will be kept.
